BEHIND THE SCENES - WEBSITE PHOTO SHOOT!

This website including the photography and my new brand identity would not be here without so many months of planning and brain-storming and above all so many friends and the local creative community all pitching in. I really have felt supported and encouraged by those around me, from my initial meetings with a business advisor to build a 5 year business plan, to the amazingly talented and generous Tony Williams at Rare-Breed who designed and created our new logo and brand identity (which went on to win a US graphic design award) , the team at Superrb who brought a fresh and original web design and build. Hayling Island photographer Harvey Mills who has collaborated brilliantly with me to capture the feel of the lifestyle and jewellery images.

The Photo shoot itself was a joy – shot mainly over one weekend - the weather was kind considering it was the last weekend in November!  My old bud, Couture bridal designer David Western provided the frocks, flowers and general coolness. Gemma from Tartufi delivered the wedding cake. The breathtaking Beth Farmer showed her expertise in Bridal modelling, hair and make- up by Liz Dayment.  Mark our groom even brought along his own VW camper –Matt from Superrb kindly donated Rufus the dog, who loved the camera – along with my slightly shyer daughter Emily with her friends Marnie, Roman and Harry had many laughs in the beach scenes – before racing to get the sunset shots of my mum and dad at the other end of the island! Thank you so much to you all – couldn’t have done it without you, and last but not least cannot forget my friend, right hand woman and Mailchimp master:  the magnificent Claire Humphreys.

This new Charlotte Cornelius website is fully accessible by us to change nearly all text and images – so it will not be static and I look forward to getting feedback from you – feel free to comment on what you think works well, or what you think could be improved on.  We hope this will be a dynamic site that will always be interesting, informative and encourage you to choose original designs rather than mass produced jewellery.
